For Our Prayers

Our Link Diocese in Sudan

The Sudan Link are working with Archbishop Ezekiel and Bishop Hassan to get them to England in November for strategic talks with partners here, plus a visitation programme in London, Salisbury and Leeds.

CASSS is still appealing for special giving to support ECS survive.  The need is still basic survival, helping our brothers and sisters in Sudan live till tomorrow comes.  There are also seasonal difficulties.  This is the rainy season with flooded streets making movement difficult and bringing added discomfort to displaced people living in shelters.

Good Food Shop, Keighley

A big thank you from the Good Food Shop for all the packets and tins of food that were gifted from the Harvest Festival.  The food really does help our most vulnerable people in Keighley.  I will resume our monthly gifting from the end of November so please keep the food coming in.  There is a box at the back of church.

” Thank you to everyone who supported our coffee morning for Martin House Children’s Hospice. The total raised so far is a massive £1509.80 and donations are still coming in. I announced on Saturday that after 30 years , we have made the difficult decision that this would be the last coffee morning . We shall still continue to support Martin House by selling cards and crafts , so watch this space ! From the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of Martin House,a huge thank you for your unfailing support over the years.

Best wishes from Lynda, Clive and Fiona Corser “

Thankyou from Sally

I have popped a thankyou card at the back of church and wanted to share with all the message inside:

As the reading for this Sunday morning Luke 4 16-24 says:-

‘All eyes were fixed on Him’

May we fix our eyes on Him, as we give thanks for the love of God deep in in our hearts, as we pray , hear God’s word and journey onwards……

My love and prayers and thanks, for your support, your kind wishes, prayers and gifts. God Bless Sally.
