Lunch club on this Thursday, 8th Oct. 11am to 1pm. Join us for fun, food and friendship. No need to book. Sandwiches and cake lunch , no charge but a donation is appreciated.

Gardening/ tidying up....we need YOU!
Can you offer some time between 9:30am and 12:30 on Saturday 17th October ( weather permitting) , to help tidy up the Church grounds ? Jobs such as chopping back bushes, weeding kerbs and beds,bagging up garden rubbish, taking it to the tip and sweeping up.
We have done tools but you may wish to bring your own.
Refreshments, including choccie biscuits , will be served !!

What a wonderful service we had today . Led by Rev Jenny Jennifer Savage , we celebrated harvest and all the blessings we have but thought about poor countries like the Sudan who do not have these riches but have such a great faith and trust in God.
The perishable goods were auctioned off after the service and £325 was raised for the Sudan. The non perishable goods ( a car load full) are going to the Salvation Army food bank.

A huge thank you to everyone who entered Best In Show today and also supported our fundraising.
There are some very talented people in our community from baking, jam making, flower arranging, photography and various forms of crafting. I know the judges found it very hard to make decisions. Well done everyone and a big thank you to our wonderful judges.

We hope that you are all busy preparing your entries for the Best in Show on Saturday.
Please bring your entries between 10 am and 11:30 am to the hall.
Then join us between 2 pm and 4pm to view the exhibits. There will be stalls... tombola, raffle, cakes, children's stall and refreshments.
Don't forget to measure your sunflower 🌻 and take a picture of it.

Maximum of two entries per category.
50p each entry for Adult categories
20 p each entry for Children's
Exhibits to be brought to the hall between 10 am and 11:30 on the day.
Viewing between 2 pm and 4pm. Please leave exhibits until 4pm .
Also stalls between 2pm and 4 pm.... tombola, raffle , cakes. Church will be decorated for Harvest and will be open .

If so, measure it from top to bottom, take a photo and bring the picture and measurements to our best in show on Saturday 26th September.
A prize for the tallest, the largest flower and a consolation prize for the smallest 😆
